Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our Emergency Department has a total of 27 beds and operates with a team of approximately 75 staff members, including RNs and medics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Manage patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions.
• Perform critical procedures, including RSI, sepsis interventions, and administration of tPA for stroke protocol.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress in EMR (Meditech).
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA guidelines for patient transfers to other facilities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments.
• 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience in high acuity and fast-paced settings.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Preferred Certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIHSS.
