We are seeking a pleasant, energetic Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier for a part-time to full-time position at a long-standing pharmacy in Vero Beach, Florida. This role provides balanced front-counter and pharmacy support, with a primary focus on cashiering, customer service, and inventory assistance. The position reports to the pharmacist-in-charge and does not require Sundays, allowing time with family and friends.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service and assistance.
- Operate the cash register and process customer payments.
- Receive and support prescription intake.
- Balance the register accurately.
- Provide inventory support and retrieve products.
- Offer phone support and respond to customer inquiries.
- Maintain store organization and an orderly front-counter area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pharmacy retail operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and pharmacy software.
- Familiarity with prescription intake and inventory management.
- Customer service experience and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Strong attention to detail and verbal communication skills.
