BI Data Engineer

Data SpecialistAssist with enabling BI (Business Intelligence) datasets to support Tableau dashboards. Primarily working in Snowflake and Snap Logic to enable. Strong SQL and Snowflake required. Snap Logic, Tableau, GA4 and Python are added bonus.Responsibilities:The Client Digital BI team is involved in many high visibility and important reporting needs that support both our dealer network and internal audience. The team is a high volume, high visibility, and growing space with challenging important work.Requirement gatheringData explorationData preparation and transformationTechnical Skills Required:Strong SQL and SnowflakeUnderstanding of dimensional and relational data modelingKnowledge of database security, performance standardsClose attention to detailMaintain and enhance Snowflake data warehouse to enable Insights and Reporting TeamsCompetent to perform all necessary data related task which could include data design, data quality, metadata management, data governance etcTroubleshoot on complex problems and provide solutions to data issuesLiaises with global teams to support project planning for efficient creation/maintenance of high-quality dataEnsure compliance with the latest data standards supported by the company, and brand, legal, information security (data security and privacy compliance)Maintain knowledge of functional technology of the data management systems as they change with upgrades and new releasesContribute to designing robust, scalable data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) solutionsDevelop data ingestion store specifications identifying source systems and the tables and fields to ingest.Develop data object pipeline specifications including detailed field level mapping, business rules, data quality rules, etc.Desired Skills:Snap Logic, Tableau, GA4 and PythonStrong statistical and mathematical knowledgeCompletion of relevant industry-specific certificationsSoft Skills Required:Ability to manage multiple projectsManaging multiple tasks at one timeIndependent workerStrong collaboration and communication skills.
