About the Position

Job Title: Cardio Echo Technician Profession: Cardio Echo Technician Specialty: Cardio Echo Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 5 years required License: Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required Certifications: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required Must-Have: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required Description: This position involves working five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Saturdays may rotate among staff as needed. The technician will use Philips equipment and must be familiar with TEE, TTE, and Stress echo procedures. An experienced technician is needed to ensure smooth integration into the workflow. Knowledge of Epic software is a plus, and the ability to start IVs is also advantageous. Lumason is used as the imaging agent, and bubble studies are performed regularly. The Cardiac Sonographer will operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and conduct cardiac scans, including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE. This position reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer and adheres to established policies and procedures. One to three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician is preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
