Tax Manager (Hybrid) Partner Track Opportunity

What: Seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client engagements, provide strategic tax planning, mentor staff, and play a key role in the firm's continued growth.

When: Immediate opening due to sustained firm growth.

Where: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid schedule available. In-office preferred with flexibility for the right candidate.)

Responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of business and individual tax clients.
• Review and prepare complex federal and state tax returns.
• Provide proactive tax planning and strategic consulting throughout the year.
• Serve as the primary advisor and relationship manager for key clients.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax staff and senior accountants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Improve internal processes and help drive operational efficiencies.
• Support business development efforts and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
• Candidates with an existing book of business are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA designation required.
• Five or more years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and pass-through taxation.
• Proven ability to independently manage client relationships and multiple engagements.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client service skills.
• Experience in a boutique or regional CPA firm is a plus.
