Davis Conference Center is hiring full-time and part-time Event Setup Crew Members to help transform our event spaces for conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, weddings, and special events.If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in creating professional event spaces, and like staying active throughout your shift, this could be a great fit. Every event is different, and our setup team plays a critical role in making each one a success.What You'll DoAs an Event Setup Crew Member, you'll work behind the scenes preparing event spaces according to detailed floor plans and event specifications. This is a physically active position where you'll help create everything from banquet rooms to large conference spaces.Responsibilities include:Set up and tear down tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, pipe and drape, backdrops, risers, and other event equipmentBuild and arrange event spaces according to setup diagramsMove furniture and equipment safely throughout the facilityPrepare meeting rooms, exhibit halls, and banquet spaces for upcoming eventsReset rooms quickly between events while maintaining quality standardsWork closely with other setup team members to complete projects on scheduleKeep storage and event areas clean, organized, and safeWhat We're Looking ForAbility to frequently lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to push, pull, move, and transport heavy equipment throughout the facilityComfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and being physically active for extended periodsDependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitudeAble to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to follow setup diagrams and directions with attention to detailPrevious event setup, warehouse, moving, construction, facilities, or physical labor experience is helpful but not requiredScheduleBoth full-time and part-time positions are available.Why Join Our Team?Every event begins with the setup crew.
