We are seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel and gas trucks, trailers, and equipment.

What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, tire, and hydraulic issues
- Troubleshoot diesel and gas-powered equipment problems
- Service and repair small engine equipment
- Complete DOT inspections and maintain compliance
- Document repairs and communicate equipment status
- Maintain an organized shop and manage parts inventory
- Coordinate larger repairs with outside vendors when needed
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Basic computer/tablet skills for maintenance records
- DOT inspection certification or willingness to obtain
Preferred:
- Diesel truck and trailer repair experience
- Small engine repair experience
- Welding or fabrication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
