Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making a difference in the lives of students ages 3 through 6th grade. This contract role offers you the chance to provide dedicated speech and language support for a manageable caseload—all within a single lively school campus near Anniston, AL. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and student growth, you’ll play a vital role in helping children develop essential communication skills in both individual and small group settings.
Qualifications:
- Current AL Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY)
- Background in pediatric SLP, school-based therapy, or healthcare SLP services
- Previous experience with elementary and preschool populations preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness to work within a diverse educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of 40 students from preschool to 6th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to individual needs
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication and language development
This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position is available for immediate start and runs through May 2027. You’ll enjoy working a consistent Monday through Friday schedule while receiving highly competitive compensation reflective of your experience ($40-45 per hour).
