Senior Software Development Engineer In TestWe are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to lead testing and validation of ecommerce systems that serves millions of customers every year. As an SDET, you partner with software developers to create and code tests concurrently with product development. You build tools that help developers be more productive, write better code and test it themselves. Responsibilities include:Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applicationsParticipate in product spec reviews, design, triage, scheduling, and other product development processWork with the development and test engineering teams to automate testingAnalyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this systemTrain and mentor other team membersWorking closely with engineers in other organizations to share state-of-the-art tools and technologiesSkill set:Requirements:5+ years of relevant work experience in this roleBS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineer. Masters degree is preferredSolid programming skills in Java and at least one scripting language (Python/Ruby/Perl/PHP)Highly proficient in writing unit tests and functional testsProficiency in writing automation tests in Selenium preferably using JavaDeep knowledge of internet technologiesPreferred:Prior experience with agile development methodologiesPrior experience with load and performance testing
