RN: ER

Job Description Join the team in Fort Wayne, Indiana as an ER registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract with 12-hour nights (36.0 hours per week). This assignment is built around fast-paced emergency nursing in a busy emergency department that evaluates a wide range of medical complaints, along with select trauma cases. You’ll work within a collaborative care team while supporting an enclosed behavioral health unit inside the ED, where nurses and techs are trained in mental health care. EPIC charting is required, and you’ll be expected to bring at least 2 years of ER experience, along with current BLS, and ACLS certifications (AHA only). TNCC and PALS (AHA only) are also required. Orientation is mandatory and scheduled for Mon–Fri during week 1 and Mon–Tues during week 2, with 8 hours of orientation time (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation). You can be scheduled for all shifts, and floating to other units/departments may occur.
