As a Senior Marketing Specialist at BillionToOne, you will play a critical role in bringing our marketing programs to life across channels. You will support the Marketing team by owning the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, managing our library of customer-facing collateral, coordinating projects and workflows, and helping ensure high-quality work moves efficiently from concept through launch.

This is an ideal role for a highly organized, detail-oriented marketer who loves making things happen. You are equally comfortable managing multiple projects, coordinating with creative and cross-functional partners, building an email campaign, proofing a customer-facing asset, or developing engaging social content. You take pride in operational excellence, have strong attention to detail, and proactively identify what needs to happen next.

You will work closely with the rest of the Marketing team and other cross-functional partners and will have the opportunity to develop broad experience across marketing channels in a fast-growing healthcare company.

This role may be remote or based out of our Menlo Park or Union City, CA offices and reports to the Marketing Operations Manager.


Responsibilities:

• Campaign & Channel Execution
  • Support lifecycle and integrated campaigns across email, webinar, SMS, direct mail, digital advertising, web, social, and sales channels, including product launches and newsletters.
  • Build, test, and deploy campaigns and automations, coordinating audiences, segmentation, personalization, content, tracking, and QA.
  • Support targeted programs including A/B tests, nurture campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), and executive outreach, coordinating execution and documenting learnings.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and program health, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.
• Marketing Collateral & Content Management
  • Own the day-to-day management of BillionToOne's customer-facing marketing collateral, ensuring materials are current, accurate, organized, and readily accessible to internal teams.
  • Coordinate the production, printing, inventory, and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, sales collateral, event materials, and other customer-facing assets.
  • Manage updates and rollouts of new or revised collateral across relevant teams and channels, ensuring outdated materials are appropriately retired.
  • Maintain organized content libraries and processes that make it easy for Sales and other internal teams to find and use approved materials.
• Social Media
  • Full ownership of the day-to-day execution of BillionToOne's social media channels, translating the broader brand and communications strategy into an engaging and consistent social presence.
  • Develop and maintain the social content calendar in partnership with the rest of the Marketing team and other stakeholders.
  • Draft, coordinate, schedule, and publish social content across corporate and product initiatives, including company news, product updates, scientific milestones, events, thought leadership, and employee stories.
  • Monitor channel performance and audience engagement, reporting on key metrics and applying learnings to continuously improve content.
• Project & Workflow Management
  • Support project and workflow management across the Marketing team, maintaining timelines, trackers, approvals, deliverables, and clear ownership to help work move efficiently from concept through launch.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recurring processes and improve how the team organizes and executes work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, campaign management, communications, or a related role.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience executing marketing campaigns across channels such as email, social media, digital advertising, and/or web.
• Experience managing social media channels and developing social content for a brand or organization.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting and applying insights to campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent proofreading and quality-control instincts.
• Comfortable working with marketing technology, project management, and content management tools; experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Customer.io, Sequel.io, HubSpot, Marketo, Asana, Sprout Social, or similar tools
• Strong project management skills and ability to proactively drive work forward across multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
• Resourceful, collaborative, low-ego team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed to help the broader team succeed.
• Healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, medtech, or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.

At BillionToOne, we are proud to offer a combination of (1) competitive base pay, (2) generous equity options offering, (3) corporate bonus program, on top of (4) industry leading company benefits (free healthcare options, 401k match, very generous fully paid parental leave, etc.).

For this position, we offer a total compensation package of $132,903 per year, including a base pay range of $85,748 - $107,185 per year.
