We're seeking a full-time Cook to join our dedicated Culinary Team at McKnight Place Extended Care. In this role, you'll take the lead on preparing well-balanced, delicious, and nutritious meals for our residents each day. Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines
• Ensure meals are prepared safely, consistently, and to high quality standards
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation throughout service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work station
• Properly store and label ingredients and food items to maintain freshness and safety
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and stock rotation as needed
• Guide and support prep cooks and kitchen staff during meal service
• Demonstrate teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude

Requirements:

• ServSafe Certification is required (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience as a cook in a professional kitchen or food service setting is required
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable transportation is required
