Armed Officer with Baton and First Aid CVS Downey FULL TIME

Job Details Date posted: May 15th, 2026 Compensation: $22.50 per hour (firm, bi‑weekly payment) Location CVS, 4915 Florence Ave, Downey, CA 90240. Also in Norwalk, CA at CVS. Schedule Full‑time shifts: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am. Part‑time options available. Additional shifts beyond the standard schedule may be required. Paid 30‑minute on‑site lunch. Primary Duties Be on time, reliable, respectful, professional, and a team player. Conduct hourly patrols, incidents, and activity reports at each shift, ensuring unauthorized personnel cannot access the site. Provide excellent customer service. End all shifts only after the relieving officer arrives for duty. Record timesheet using personal smartphone and the NES mobile application. Maintain a polished, professional, and neat appearance. Follow post orders as instructed by NES. Ensure the safety of all employees, visitors, and personnel on site. Requirements High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years experience as an armed security officer. Proof of authorization to work in the United States. Located in or near Van Nuys (or surrounding areas such as Northridge, Panorama City, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Reseda, Tarzana, North Hollywood). Current CA State Guard Card. Current Exposed Firearm Permit. Current Power to Arrest Permit. Working firearm, duty belt, and work boots. Proficient written and verbal English skills. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Punctual, responsible, and professional at all times. Well groomed and compliant with uniform requirements. Android or iOS smartphone capable of GPS, SMS, e‑mail, and use of the NES mobile work app. Basic computer skills. Security clearance required or willingness to obtain one. Ready to start immediately.
