Bookkeeper

Job purpose Maintain and record accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and payroll in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Duties and responsibilities Maintain and record entries to Netsuite Oracle: A/R and inventory A/P and vendors General journals and month end journal entries Payroll and related tax reporting Close within 7 business days and produce financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Provide other reporting to show customer payments and aging of outstanding balances; vendors payments and aging of balances due; inventory and changes in item counts with projected stock needs and payroll with employee wage history. Work with the outside CPA to provide year-end workpapers and make year-end adjustments Qualifications Two years experience bookkeeping in a similar size firm. Use good verbal and written communication skills Read orders and follow instructions Work well independently and as a member of a team Working conditions Some overtime requires at the beginning and end of the accounting cycle.
