Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: GP 9 Center Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Deliver patient care using the principles of Relationship Centered Care. Assess and evaluate patient care needs applying critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and families with concerns. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying improvement opportunities. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.
