2nd shift Production Associate

Responsibilities The primary job duties of our General Laborers include packaging meat, labeling items, palletizing shipments, and retrieving frozen products. The following duties are also required: Complete physical labor as needed in a cold (32°F), wet manufacturing environment Follow all appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements, including but not limited to moving fresh pork through the production floor Follow all safety guidelines and wear all required safety gear ensuring a safe work environment for you and your co-workers. Continuous training in Safe Quality Food (SQF) and all additional training as required. Fulfill other duties and assignments as assigned by managers. Qualifications Flexibility with work hours, in general Have strong attention to detail Understand and follow verbal and written instructions in Spanish or English Punctual with great attendance Ability to satisfy physical requirements (see below) Physical Requirements and Work Environment The work environment will include cold temperatures between 50°F and 10°F (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to fumes or airborne particles and chemicals. Ear protection is required and provided.
