Your Tasks:

• You will take over the 2nd-level support for Cisco routing, switching, and security solutions and ensure the reliable operation of complex enterprise networks. A focus of your work is structured troubleshooting as well as the sustainable analysis and resolution of disruptions in production infrastructures.
• You will accompany customers remotely during the integration and implementation phase of new projects and bring your operational experience early on. At the same time, you will continuously work yourself into new and existing solutions from the Cisco portfolio and actively support the transfer of these solutions into our support services.
• In close cooperation with the field service as well as with colleagues from the areas of data center, server, and unified communications, you will ensure that technical solutions are considered holistically and operated efficiently. Optionally, you can also get involved in topics such as network monitoring, quality of service, authentication, and identity management.

Your Profile:

• You have several years of experience in the administration and integration of current Cisco technologies and bring very good knowledge in the areas of switching, routing, and firewall. You have already worked in enterprise infrastructures and are familiar with operational and support processes in the network and security environment.
• Knowledge in topics such as network monitoring, QoS, IPSLA, NBAR, authentication, and identity management solutions are self-evident for you. Experience with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, virtualization, or Linux is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• You have a completed education, a degree, or a retraining in the IT sector and have at least five years of professional experience in the network and security environment. A Cisco certification at the CCNP level in the areas of routing & switching, security, or data center is desirable.
• You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented and enjoy developing yourself professionally. Very good German as well as good English skills in speech and writing are required of us. The willingness to participate in on-call duties as well as a driver's license class B complete your profile.
