Network Engineer L3 (SDWAN)

Responsibilities

• Act as the L3 escalation point for complex network incidents across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and ADC environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity network issues within SLA.

• Provide support for Fortinet SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco WLC-based Wireless Networks, F5 BIG-IP ADC, and IPAM/DDI solutions.

• Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and drive incident resolution.

• Ensure SLA and KPI targets are met.

• Manage tickets using ServiceNow or equivalent tools, including RCA and post-incident reviews.

• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal stakeholders during incidents.

• Execute LAN/WAN migration projects, including planning, implementation, and validation.

• Prepare and maintain network design documents, as-built documentation, and SOPs.

• Create and update network topology diagrams.

• Follow up with client project teams on deliverables and milestones.

• Hand over completed projects to Operations teams, including knowledge transfer and runbook creation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst switching, including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and QoS.

• Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers and enterprise Wi-Fi deployments.

• Working knowledge of F5 BIG-IP ADC, including LTM, APM, WAF, Pools, Virtual Servers, and SSL profiles.

• Experience with IPAM/DDI solutions, including DNS and DHCP.

• Experience in Major Incident Management, SLA, and uptime management.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• 10 12 years of relevant enterprise network experience.

• Experience working in an ITIL-based service environment is preferred.

• CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, F5 Certified Administrator, or ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.

• Strong stakeholder management and customer-focused mindset.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations if required.
