Benefits and Features :

Base Salary: $300, 000 $350, 000/year (guaranteed and continues beyond the initial 2-year contract)
Bonus: Quality + Production bonuses paid quarterly at $62 per wRVU (uncapped)
Total Compensation: Typically $400, 000 $500, 000/year
Avg wRVU per visit: 2.16 (at MGMA national benchmark)
Sign-On Bonus: $50, 000
Relocation: $10, 000
CME: $5, 000/year
Loan Support: Available during or after training (monthly, quarterly, or annual options)
PSLF Eligible Employer: Estimated $100, 000 forgiveness over 5 years

Cost of Living: 8% below U.S. national average
Note: Higher base salary increases the wRVU bonus threshold

Job/Practice Description:

Our full-time rheumatologist is leaving to pursue private practice with his spouse, so this need is dire.
Location: Findlay, OH (40mins from Toledo)
Schedule Options:

1) Part-time or Full-time (2-5 days/week - 4hr, 8hr, 10hr, 12hr days)

2) Week On/Week Off (7am-7pm Mon-Thurs, 7am-5pm Fri, optional 4hr Sat)

Personal life and work balance, 2-5 days/week, 4-12 hours/day, option of extended morning or evening hours, 100% outpatient, office VM for call (average less than one/month.)
Practice autonomy, choice of patient mix and ages, ability to provide input and bring ideas to practice.
Team support and collaborationwith experienced and supportive staff and local administration, full complement of medical and surgical specialties.
Weekly onsite CME, and CME/grand rounds available through Mayo Clinic Care Network
24-hour in-house hospitalist services
Option to teach medical students and advanced practice trainees
Full complement of medical and surgical specialties available for support
State-of-the-Art Surgical and Inpatient Facilities and Technology
New visits average 40 minutes and follow-ups 20.
Physicians see 2 patients per hour (18 per day), starting with mostly new patients in the first month and transitioning to a balanced mix by month three.
A full schedule depends on how quickly you learn the workflows and EMR. 90 days are allowed to ramp up, but most physicians are booked within a month since the volume is already there.
During onboarding, the organization promotes you and connects you with medical staff and referring physicians. You re not responsible for generating patient volume.
