NURSE PRACTITIONER SALARY

Job Details Job Location: MD - Columbia Pkwy - Columbia, MD 21045 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Schedule CVR Annapolis- Monday/Wednesday CVR Columbia- Tuesday/Thursday Four 10-hour shifts Full-time, 40-hours per week Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short‑term and long‑range patient care issues; providing information and commentary; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physician directives Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests; identifies abnormal results and brings them to the attention of the attending physician Works closely with Nursing, Surgical and Vascular Lab Staff Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans under the direction of the attending physician Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Formulates a multimodality treatment strategy for the patients’ venous insufficiency under the direction of the attending physician Assists in medical procedures as requested by the attending physician Educates patients on treatment options, physician recommendations, and assists patients in scheduling treatments Participates in telephone communication with patients as needed Creates a letter of medical necessity when required by a patient insurance company Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements; studies existing and new legislation; anticipates future legislation; enforces adherence; advises management on needed actions Participates in all continuity of care initiatives, including one‑month, six‑month and annual follow‑ups Maintains accurate and detailed reports and records; completes all work within established time requirements Trains new clinical staff as needed Works together with the team members at the center(s) to reach center goals Assists in community events sponsored by CVR as needed Attends periodic team meetings Processes medical instruments and medical waste per CVR standards Adheres to all infection control, universal precautions and safety policies Utilizes appropriate customer service skills during interactions with patients, physicians, visitors, staff, and other personnel Other duties as assigned by management, or clinical director Minimum Requirements Must be licensed Nurse Practitioner Minimum of 2 years of previous NP experience required Must be able to travel to Grand Rapids and Muskegon clinic Qualifications Excellent clinical skills Excellent communication skills Professional conduct Strong work ethic Excellent customer service as demonstrated by sensitivity to patients’ needs and feelings Dedicated to follow‑through and maximizing patient results Organized and detail‑oriented Flexibility and adaptability regarding schedules, responsibilities, and priorities The ability to interact with, support, and influence positively the behavior and activities of patients, physicians, and staff/co‑workers The ability to work independently and as a cooperative member of a team Prior MedSpa, Dermatology, Cosmetic or Plastic Surgery experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Center for Vein Restoration
