As an Ultrasound Technician , you will play a critical role in performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their experience. A typical day for an Ultrasound Technician may include: Prepares & sends specimens to labs in the absence of the secretary. Prepares exam rooms before patient enters & cleans room following patient's exit. Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures by assisting them onto the table & instructing them in the procedure that is being performed. Selects & records appropriate images for the permanent The sonographer is competent in the production & analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis & treatment. In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality patient care by exercising discretion & judgement in the performance of sonographic services.
