Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment
• Perform scrub and/or circulator duties across a broad range of surgical service lines
• Operate and maintain familiarity with surgical equipment and technology utilized in the OR setting
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Adhere to a variable schedule including on-call requirements as needed
• Float to other departments in accordance with facility staffing policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Ability to meet variable scheduling and on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with robotic surgery programs and advanced surgical technology
• Prior travel nursing experience in a perioperative setting
