The Counselor in Charge will assist the Unit Manager with work which involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the technical and administrative components of a diverse rehabilitation program’s day-to-day operations.The Counselor in Charge will work with the Unit Manager and staff to achieve unit goals for productivity and quality customer service. This position will be responsible for daily supervision, leadership and assigned casework supervision and approval for Rehabilitation Counselors and other assigned staff.Job responsibilities include the following:Assist individuals on the caseload with job development, job placement and other services to complete a rehabilitation plan for employment.Administrative management tasks to include casework approvals to ensure quality service delivery for the assigned coverage area, budget development and performance management/improvement.Staff development/training, and consultation/technical assistance to subordinate staffWork may include other related assignments as determined by Unit ManagerKnowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Grade Range $50,088 - $87,654Recruitment Range $50,088 - $75,000**Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours**Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
