Plumbing Design Technician

A Plumbing Designer who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to support projects for some of the world’s largest and most state-of-the-art industrial facilities. Required: 10 years, reduces to 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software General working knowledge of plumbing codes An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination Passion for buildings and construction Preferred: Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Job Responsibilities: Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit. Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines Review and respond to RFI's and shop drawings Pay Range: $38/hr. - $43/hr.
