Role Summary

Stellix is seeking a Senior AI & Automation Solutions Consultant to help customers identify, design, and implement AI-enabled and automation-driven solutions that improve business performance and create measurable value.

This is a client-facing, hands-on consulting role that blends business problem solving, process and workflow analysis, solution architecture, enterprise AI enablement, and delivery leadership. The successful candidate will work with customer executives, business leaders, operational teams, and technical stakeholders to uncover opportunities, facilitate discovery, define value cases, design practical solutions, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.

The role will contribute directly to service-delivery revenue by delivering high-value engagements, supporting proposals and statements of work, creating reusable offerings and accelerators, and identifying opportunities for follow-on work. The right candidate can move comfortably between customer conversations, business analysis, technical solution design, rapid prototyping, executive communication, and delivery execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions, interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify high-value opportunities for AI, automation, knowledge management, and productivity improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with customer executives, business leaders, functional stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Analyze customer processes, user journeys, operating models, systems, data, and pain points to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, cycle-time, throughput, experience, and revenue improvement.
• Translate customer needs into problem statements, use cases, requirements, user stories, process maps, value cases, solution concepts, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Design end-to-end solutions that combine AI, workflow automation, enterprise knowledge, data, and human adoption.
• Select and apply the appropriate architecture for each use case, including search-based experiences, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow-triggered AI, copilots, knowledge assistants, agentic workflows, and structured automation.
• Develop prototypes, demonstrations, pilots, and production-ready solution designs using platforms such as Glean, Microsoft AI and Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps, Claude Code, and related technologies.
• Lead or support delivery of consulting workstreams, ensuring alignment on scope, outcomes, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and acceptance criteria.
• Define and quantify measures of success, including time savings, throughput, quality, adoption, customer experience, operating cost, revenue contribution, and return on investment.
• Present solution options, architecture choices, business value, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to both executive and technical audiences.
• Support proposals, statements of work, estimates, discovery reports, executive presentations, case studies, and other sales-enablement materials.
• Identify follow-on opportunities and partner with Sales, Account Executives, Delivery, Product, and subject-matter experts to expand customer value and account relationships.
• Create reusable offerings, accelerators, templates, methodologies, and reference architectures that improve delivery consistency and support commercial growth.
• Establish responsible AI and automation practices for customer solutions, including governance, security, privacy, access controls, human oversight, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
• Support customer adoption through training, communications, operating-model changes, enablement materials, and value-realization planning.
• Contribute to thought leadership, market perspectives, points of view, and industry-facing content related to AI, automation, productivity, and digital transformation.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving consulting environment and maintain strong follow-through across customer and internal commitments

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, solution design, business analysis, enterprise productivity, workflow automation, digital transformation, business systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success working directly with customers or business stakeholders to define needs, shape solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, process analysis, user journey mapping, requirements definition, value-case development, and solution prioritization.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-enabled, automation-driven, low-code/no-code, knowledge-management, or enterprise productivity solutions.
• Practical experience with tools such as Glean, Microsoft 365, Microsoft AI or Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps, Claude Code, or equivalent technologies.
• Working understanding of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, prompt design, orchestration patterns, agentic AI, and enterprise knowledge architectures.
• Ability to evaluate solution feasibility across customer value, technical complexity, security, governance, adoption readiness, delivery effort, and scalability.
• Experience communicating technical concepts and business value to executives, business leaders, technical teams, and end users.
• Experience supporting proposals, statements of work, estimates, solution demonstrations, account planning, or follow-on opportunities.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technology decisions to operational performance, customer outcomes, commercial value, and revenue.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority, manage ambiguity, and lead cross-functional delivery.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, listening, consulting, negotiation, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
• Experience with responsible AI, information security, data privacy, governance, or technology risk in enterprise environments.
• Willingness to support customer meetings and travel as required by client engagements.

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $140,000 to $180,000, based on experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan.

The posted salary range represents a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.

On-Site Requirements

This position requires a full on-site presence 5 days per week during the first 4–6 months. Following that period, the role will be on-site four days per week, including Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the fourth on-site day alternating between Tuesday or Friday depending on business needs.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
