Are you ready to make a difference? The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for providing clients with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. The Assistant Property Manager must demonstrate leadership and create trust with owners and tenants (both current and prospective) this position will involve applying experience and confidence to new and unusual situations and is tasked with supporting the property management portfolio team. To succeed, the Assistant Property Manager must have a working knowledge of tenancy laws and regulations and be committed to the implementation of best practice. The Assistant Property Manager must always be seeking to improve their skills and invest in professional development.

Requirements

• State Certification or holds a full License
• Technologically proficient
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Local area knowledge
• Computer proficiencyMicrosoft Office
• Managing Referrals across Departments
• Familiarity with the following:
  • Federal and Fair Housing
  • Residential Tenancies Act - ORS Chapter 90
  • Rent Control and Renter Relocation Requirements specific to Oregon and the City of Portland
  • Anti-Discrimination Act
  • Trade Practices and Fair Trading Acts

Compensation: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Real Property Management Solutions is an Oregon-based branch of Real Property Management. Our team of experienced professionals live and work here in Portland and have an in-depth understanding of the State and local laws, along with the knowledge and experience of tracking the rental market which allows us to lease properties faster. Since we focus entirely on managing homes and multi-family residential units and not selling real estate, we are able to provide our full attention to maintaining and preserving your real estate investments.
