Maintenance Technician

We are hiring Maintenance Technicians for a growing manufacturing facility. Opportunities are available for both Junior and Sr level technicians with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. This is a hands-on role working on production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and helping keep operations running efficiently.

Please note: We are looking for experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance, not facilities maintenance.

Junior Maintenance Technician

Pay: $30-$34/hr

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment with guidance from Sr technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Work with bearings, chain drives, belts, conveyors, seals, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems.
• Replace sensors, switches, cylinders, and other machine components.
• Use tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and tachometers to diagnose issues.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation using CMMS systems.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability efforts.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, pneumatics, motors, bearings, chains, and gearboxes.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to learn.

Technical Skills

• Bearings, seals, chain drives, belt drives, and conveyor systems
• Pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves, and air systems
• Basic gearbox maintenance
• Electrical safety, motor identification, and sensor replacement
• Multimeter use and basic PLC I/O troubleshooting
• CMMS experience (MaintainX, Hippo, or similar systems)

Sr Maintenance Technician

Pay: $34-$36/hr

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair complex equipment failures and downtime issues.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge.
• Perform advanced preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders and maintenance activities.
• Drive equipment performance and production uptime.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience troubleshooting production equipment.
• Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with older, high-speed manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians.
• CMMS experience such as MaintainX or Hippo preferred.

Technical Expertise

• Gearboxes, cam systems, bearings, seals, and chain drives
• Dial indexers and conveyor systems
• Pneumatic cylinders and servo actuators
• Mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Preventative and predictive maintenance practices
• Root cause analysis and equipment reliability improvements

Schedule

• Current openings on 2nd and 3rd Shift
• Transitioning to a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule
• Hiring for all 4 crews
• 6 Junior openings
• 4 Sr openings (1 per crew)

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Grandview, MO.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr. They offer vision, medical and dental benefits.

Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Grandview, MO.
