Registered Nurse - Surgery

Location: Lee's Summit, MO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with 2-6 days of call per month.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Surgery unit is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, Techs, and Anesthesia Techs, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in the operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Meditech charting system for accurate patient documentation
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including Ortho, Spine, Vascular, General Surgery, Colorectal, Robotic, GYN, and ENT

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Strong vascular skills required
• Knowledge of Meditech charting system
• Current RN license
• Advanced skills in surgical nursing
• Certifications as required for surgical practice
