Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate to join their team in Nashville, TN. The role involves working on patent prosecution and litigation matters, particularly in the areas of electrical engineering and software, with a focus on 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards. Duties Draft and prosecute patent applications. Engage in litigation related to patent matters. Collaborate with a team on complex engineering and software issues. Provide legal advice on wireless communication standards. Requirements 2-6 years of legal experience in IP law. Admitted to the USPTO. Licensed to practice law or ability to become licensed in the state of employment. Experience with wireless communication standards is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Strong organizational and analytical abilities. EducationBackground Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field. Certifications USPTO admission. Skills Proficiency in patent drafting and prosecution. Experience in design engineering with a chip company is a plus.
