We are seeking dependable, safety-focused Ready Mix Concrete Drivers to join our team in our Hanford and Visalia locations.

The Ready Mix Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial mixer truck, delivering ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites, and providing professional service to our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, maintains a safety-first attitude, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Deliver concrete to assigned job sites safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery tickets, inspection reports, electronic logs, and other required documentation.
• Properly position the truck and operate the concrete chute at job sites.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, contractors, and other employees.
• Monitor the condition and consistency of concrete during delivery.
• Wash and clean the mixer drum, chutes, and truck after deliveries.
• Report mechanical problems, safety hazards, accidents, injuries, and delivery concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Follow all company safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate a manual and/or automatic transmission.
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings, including a DOT drug and alcohol test.
• Must meet all applicable DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform essential job duties and comply with safety requirements.
• Ready-mix, construction, or commercial driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and available to work varying start times, overtime, early mornings, and Saturdays when required.

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires the employee to:

• Enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle multiple times throughout the workday.
• Climb ladders and safely access elevated areas of the mixer truck.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Handle and position concrete chutes.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, dust, noise, and other construction-site conditions.
• Safely perform job duties around moving equipment, uneven surfaces, and active construction sites.

Required Personal Protective Equipment

Employees must wear all company-required personal protective equipment, including:

• Hard hat with chin strap
• Safety glasses or approved eye protection
