As a Front Desk Security Officer at a retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a professional, visible presence while helping to deter security‑related incidents and communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and team members. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Staff the front desk or reception area, greet and direct visitors, provide building information, and maintain a professional, customer‑focused presence. Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document relevant details. Monitor front desk communications, alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least six months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
