Overview Reid, Ballew & Leahy is a mission driven firm that advocates for the rights of working people throughout the Pacific Northwest, representing labor unions, pensions and trusts. We are seeking an associate with strong legal skills and a dedicated interest in representing organized labor to join our firm. Responsibilities Represent workers and unions before arbitrators, administrative law judges, courts, mediators, and other decision makers. Prepare and deliver oral arguments or presentations. Interpret contracts, conduct research, write legal documents, and communicate with diverse audiences. Qualifications Active WSBA license. At least 3 years of legal experience, or 3 years of experience outside the legal field for newer lawyers. Prior union or labor law experience is a plus. Benefits Generous medical, vision and dental plans. Parking or transit stipend. Remote work optional one day a week. Bar and professional membership dues. Flexible PTO.
