Warehouse Shipper

Manage the entire shipping process for picked and ready-to-pack orders Assist the department supervisor with daily planning and guide direct staff members to complete Internet shipping mandates efficiently and timely Handle department demands, expectations, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshooting, and problem solving Ensure team members follow proper procedures and enforce good safety practices Achieve department productivity and quality goals Assist with training and follow-up of new team members Maintain excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication Direct and oversee Internet picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines Assist picking supervisors in navigating and prioritizing orders Frequently monitor systems and emails to ensure customer satisfaction Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards Maintain and promote workplace safety Secure and transfer cash or other assets Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Great communication skills Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 100 lbs Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach Occasionally sit and climb ladders and/or stairs or balance Ability to function in environmental conditions and narrow aisles or passageways Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus Time management skills Able to work well under pressure Must work well with other staff members and supervisors Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse Core Competencies Demonstrates strong capabilities in managing shipping processes, ensuring productivity and quality goals, and maintaining safety standards in a warehouse environment.
