Job Description Job Description Job title: Medical Assistant - Clinical Minimum Requirements: * Medical Terminology Training * Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred * High School Graduate * Current CPR certification * High degree of physical coordination, finger and hand dexterity and a high degree of visual, auditory and oral acuity. Responsible for all patient related clinical interaction. Responsible for operations of exam rooms, patient flow, scheduling, chart maintenance, customer service excellence, teamwork and office operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Assistant/Operations: 1. Ensures all patient/family members feel welcome by acknowledging their presence, smiling and making eye contact. 2. Ensures all patient demographics are up-to-date and accurate at each visit. 3. Ensures that all patients in the waiting room are kept informed about delays in scheduling. 4. Ensures all clinical procedures are performed according to established clinical standards. 5. Opens and/or closes office as needed. 6. Maintains organized and clean waiting room. 7.
