Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing quality care in a 12-bed medical-surgical unit, focusing on adult and geriatric patient populations. The role involves utilizing the Meditech electronic health record system to document care and participating in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in daily living activities and patient assessments.
• Manage documentation and updates in the Meditech EHR system.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical-surgical setting is required. Preferred experience is 2 or more years in a medical-surgical unit.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIH (National Institutes of Health) Stroke Scale certification.
