This role involves standing up a new AWS landing zone, implementing secure and scalable infrastructure, and enabling automated deployments through best‑in‑class IaC and DevOps practices. This is a highly technical, onsite role requiring close collaboration with internal engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure all cloud services, policies, and configurations align with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant AWS environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 10‑15+ years of IT/software engineering experience with 7+ years focused on AWS cloud platforms. Strong hands‑on experience managing enterprise AWS environments and AWS Organizations. Deep understanding of AWS Organizations, IAM governance, and AWS Control Tower. Experience implementing cloud guardrails and governance frameworks for enterprise compliance requirements. Experience reviewing and allowing listing AWS services based on security, risk, and compliance standards. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK. Strong hands‑on experience with Python automation and AWS SDKs/APIs (Boto3). Experience building cloud automation and self‑service provisioning workflows. Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, logging, and monitoring. Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, or NIST. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty). Experience migrating or replicating enterprise cloud environments.
