What You’ll Do: Connect with customers through outbound calls (don’t worry, we’ll train you!) using our easy auto‑dial system. Talk with customers to set up payment plans on early delinquent accounts and help them get back on track. Answer inbound calls and provide friendly, professional support. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Pre-30-Day Collector plays an important role in helping customers stay on track with their accounts while supporting Westlake Financial’s continued success. We’re looking for someone who’s goal‑driven, customer‑focused, and ready to grow with us. Use strong communication and negotiation skills to work with customers and help them make timely payments. Meet and exceed daily and monthly performance goals. Make effective outbound calls to customers to arrange payments or set up plans to resolve past‑due accounts. Handle inbound customer calls — providing professional, friendly assistance while addressing both service and collection needs. Work with Westlake customers to find and arrange collection solutions for individual accounts. Be a dependable team player who contributes to a positive, supportive work environment. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED preferred Good communication, listening, and problem‑solving skills Basic to intermediate computer knowledge Proper grammar and email etiquette Type a minimum of 35 WPM Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, overtime and weekends Bi‑lingual (Spanish) is welcomed but not required Auto Collections experience preferred MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE Daybreak or other retail consumer servicing systems. Cisco or other auto dialer systems. Web navigation and/or web‑based applications. Personal computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable using a computer keyboard and number pad for data entry.
