Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team (fast hire)

Duties

Perform grooming services, HAIR CUT, bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Provide styling based on breed standards or customer requests, including:

Teddy Bear Cut

Kennel Cut

Lamb Cut

Puppy Cut

Top Knot Cut

Breed-specific styles (e.g., Poodle cuts, Schnauzer cut)

Ensure that all grooming services are completed in a safe and humane manner.

Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area.

Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and offer recommendations.

Handle pets in a calm, patient, and gentle manner.

Monitor the health and behavior of pets during the grooming process.

Requirements

Certification/License: Must have a certification in pet grooming from an accredited institution

Skills: Knowledge of grooming techniques for various dog breeds; ability to handle dogs of all sizes.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift dogs of various sizes.

Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills.

Passion for Pets: A genuine love and care for dogs.

Basic Grooming Tools:

The candidate should have proficiency in using the following essential grooming tools:

Clippers: With different blade sizes to accommodate various coat types.

Scissors: Including straight, curved, and thinning shears for detailed trimming.

Brushes and Combs: Including slicker brushes, pin brushes, and de-matting tools for detangling and grooming different coat types.

Nail Clippers/Grinders: To safely trim and file dog nails.

Dryers: High-velocity dryers for quick drying, and fluff dryers for styling.

Shampoo and Conditioners: Knowledge of which products to use for different coat types (hypoallergenic, whitening, etc.).

Ear Cleaning Solution & Tools: For maintaining ear hygiene.

Cologne/Spray Finishes: To give the dog a polished look and pleasant scent.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
