Arizona, Scottsdale, AZ, US Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually As an Air AmbulanceMedical Flight Coordinator Case Manager, your primary responsibility will be tocoordinate all aspects of patient transfer, by air or ground, to ensurecontinuity of patient care in all phases of each Air Ambulance transport. Thesemay include, but are not limited to, transfers to a higher or specialized levelof care for acute patients i.e. rehab, cancer, transplant, pediatric,end-of-life, emergency out-of-country evacuations and commercial medical escortflights. This position requires on-siteoffice duties as well as work from home.Salary will be determined based on experience related to this position. Medical FlightCoordinator Case Manager Responsibilities Receiving andqualifying emergent and non-emergent requests for patient transfer, via air orground ambulance, from Hospital Case Managers, Transfer Centers, CommercialInsurance Carriers, Corporate Partners and Private Families. Quoting, negotiatingand coordinating day-to-day flight operations in accordance with all Federaland company regulations and requirements. UnderstandingAircraft specifications, capabilities and aviation terminology to assistOperations in the scheduling of Aircraft and pending flights. Understandingmedical conditions, terminology and flight physiology to appropriatelycommunicate information to Clinical Manager and Medical Director inestablishing patient transport status and coordination of transfer. UnderstandingCrewResources and capabilities, both medical and flight. Briefing Flight andMedical Crews on all aspects of flights Fulfilling allspecial requests or notifications from Flight or Medical Crews. Monitoring theprogress of all phases of transport and flight follow from departure througharrival. Updating All partiesat each phase of the transport and providing a “high touch” experience for CaseManagers, Corporate Partners, and Private Patient Families by being availableto answer questions, address concerns and establish a level of comfort and trust. Implementing companysafety procedures and policies, departmental procedures, and policies, as welloperational standards and procedures. Conducting periodicmarket research to determine competitive industry position. Utilizing CRM forcollecting, organizing and analyzing key market information, opportunities andclient data to promote company brand and services.
