Aerotek is hiring a Bagger Operator - Food Manufacturing

Memphis, TN

1st Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or 2nd Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

3 Days On / 3 Days Off Schedule (No Rotation)

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment used to fill, weigh, seal, label, and palletize finished products.
• Accurately weigh and package products to meet quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and packaging accuracy.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Complete production paperwork and packaging documentation.
• Assist with equipment changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and line sanitation activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate quality, equipment, and safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements, including wearing hairnets, beard nets, lab coats, safety glasses, ear protection, and protective footwear.

✅ Previous experience in a Food & Beverage, FDA-regulated, or similar manufacturing environment

✅ Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift

✅ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

✅ Basic math skills for weighing and verifying product accuracy

✅ Willingness to be trained and certified on forklift equipment for future growth opportunities

✅ Must be able to comply with food safety requirements regarding jewelry, piercings, facial hair, nails, and eyelashes

✅ Must have steel-toe or composite-toe footwear

• FDA-regulated food manufacturing facility
• Temperature-controlled packaging areas and coolers (approximately 50&degree;F year-round)
• Periods of heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Required use of company-provided PPE and food safety attire

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Memphis,TN.
