Job Description

We are thrilled to invite board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologists to join our team at a 453-bed tertiary care facility, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in East-Central Illinois. We have openings for General GI physicians, GI Hospitalists, and specialists in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), with the flexibility to support additional subspecialty interests. There is also a position available for a pediatric gastroenterologist. This not-for-profit hospital has been recognized as one of 'America's 50 Best Hospitals' by Healthgrades and has earned Magnet Designation. Position Highlights

Openings for General GI and GI Hospitalists, with a particular demand for IBD and Motility specialists.
Dedicated support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
General GI roles are primarily outpatient, featuring an 80/20 split—80% lab/procedures and 20% clinic. Physicians can maximize their clinical productivity.
GI Hospitalists will follow a traditional 7-on/7-off schedule, managing most of the call responsibilities, with approximately 40 weeks of call annually.
Opportunities for teaching and research are available for interested candidates.
Competitive compensation package, including an above-median guaranteed base salary plus wRVUs and a sign-on bonus.
