Restaurant Server

Restaurant Server Conrad's Eat Drink Local is looking for a restaurant server to add to our team. We are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and operate three event rooms within our doors. The ideal candidate would have high-volume serving experience with some knowledge of craft beer. We are looking for day-time and night-time servers and full and part time! To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bartenders, cooks, management, and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is desired, but not required. Responsibilities Include: Be a brand ambassador Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude Enter orders in POS system Engage with customers in a friendly manner Knowledge of the menu, cocktail/wine list and beer taps with the ability to make suggestions Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems Collect payments from tables Show appreciation to our guests every transaction Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes Help food preparation staff when necessary Complete opening and closing duties Follow running side work and end of shift side work Server Requirements: Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment desired A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy Able to handle money accurately and operate our POS system Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
