Customer Service Representative

A client of Insight Global is seeking strong communicators to join their call center as a Customer Service Representative responsible for communicating over the phone with insureds, agency personnel, providers, claimants, vendors, and any other callers with questions related to insurance products and services.
Job Logistics
- Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site & 2 remote)
- Schedule: 7:45 - 4:15, 8:30 - 5, or 9:30 - 6
Day to Day
- Answer inbound customer inquiries
- Make outbound follow-up calls as needed
- Support billing, policy, coverage, and claims questions
- Document interactions accurately
- Research customer requests using internal tools
- Escalate issues when necessary
- Deliver high-quality customer service
- Work toward first-contact resolution
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable handling approximately 40 calls per day
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems
- Detail-oriented documentation skills
- Strong active listening skills
