Health Unit Coordinator

Job Overview Stoughton Health offers an excellent opportunity for a Health Unit Coordinator to join our Emergency Services team on a full‑time basis. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain files of medical records Answer phones and triage phone calls to professional staff Manage supplies and assist staff in meeting their needs to do their jobs Requirements High school graduate or equivalent; post‑high school vocational/specialized training preferred Previous clerical experience preferred; similar or related experience in a healthcare setting preferred Non‑violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years (rolling calendar basis) Basic computer skills – email, internal websites, electronic health records, online learning tools Microsoft Office Suite basics (open, save, edit documents, write a letter) Full‑time, 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week), variable days between Monday and Friday; shift 7:00 pm – 7:00 am; holiday rotation every third Benefits 403(b) retirement plan (match at hire) Medical insurance (multiple health plan options) Dental and vision insurance Disability and life insurance Flexible spending account and Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid time off (PTO at hire) Employee assistance programs Tuition assistance Free on‑campus parking Work Environment This is an in‑person role at Stoughton Hospital location, supporting a collaborative and supportive work culture while providing exceptional, personalized service.
