Production Supervisor

Adecco is assisting a client in Elizabethtown, NC in hiring a Production Supervisor. If you have experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment and enjoy working hands-on, this could be a great fit.

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. This role requires strong leadership, quick decision-making, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees

• Assign work, monitor output, and ensure daily goals are achieved

• Address production issues in real time to minimize downtime

• Partner with maintenance, engineering, and other teams to resolve challenges

• Enforce safety standards and promote a safe work environment

• Ensure products meet quality expectations and address defects as needed

• Maintain production records and shift documentation

• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives

• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and onboarding new team members

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong understanding of production processes, safety, and quality standards

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar systems)

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and noise

• Standing for extended periods and occasional lifting required

• Flexibility for overtime or weekend work as needed

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
