Registered Nurse (RN) Stepdown/PCU/IMC

Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Stepdown/PCU/IMC for our client in Millersburg, OH 44654. This is a 13 weeks contract assignment.

Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Stepdown/PCU/IMC

Location: Millersburg, OH 44654

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Night Shift | 312-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week (Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC).
• Continuously monitor patients using telemetry and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document care in TruBridge EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as needed based on patient care requirements.
• Ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Active RN License.
• Minimum of 23 years of Stepdown, PCU, IMC, or Telemetry nursing experience (ICU experience is a plus).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification during orientation.
• Experience caring for telemetry and progressive care patients.

Additional Information:

• Telemetry/Stepdown unit with occasional PCU-level patient assignments.
• Floating to the Medical-Surgical unit may be required.
• ASAP start.
• Charting System: TruBridge
