Radius Rule: Locals accepted for LPN's at $10 less.Required License and Certifications:Pending License Accepted: No, Must have an active New York Single State LPN license.Required Certifications: BLSRequired Clinical Skills:Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN; Acute Care exp within the last 2 yearsBlood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Start/maintaining IVsHigh Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Trach care/managementFeeding tube care/management, Heparin Protocols, Pacemakers/Temp/Perm, Telemetry-on the unit monitoringUse of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, MS/Tele, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drainsUnit Details and Floating:Ratios: 1:5–6Unit Details: Complex care unit for Medicine, ortho overflow and complex long term patientsFloating: Will be required to float within skillsetScrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and whiteHospital Highlights:Rochester General Hospital is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility in Rochester, NY.
