Home Health Aide

Job Description

The Home Health Aide provides personalized care and support to 21 year old female with Cerebral Palsy and Wheelchair bound. Aide will assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being. This role involves working independently with occasional travel between patients home, Doctor appointments, and recreational outings. Shifts typically lasts 6-10hours, 3 to 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care tailored to individual needs
Assist with medication administration when needed
Support daily living activities and personal hygiene
Facilitate patient mobility and transfer
Prepare meals following dietary requirements
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Offer emotional support to patients

Required Qualifications

CPR certification
MUST be able to lift/transfer at least 130 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in home health care
