Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Pediatric Emergency Room to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in emergency situations while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.Shift NotesScheduled hours: 36 hours per week24 hours guaranteedMust be willing to float to similar units as neededWeekends and holidays required as per department guidelinesNo set schedulesRequirementsPediatric experience is requiredActive TNCC certification is mandatoryENPC certification is preferredMust be able to start on the listed start date or within one weekRegistered Nurse license must be valid and free of any disciplinary actionsLife support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHIAdditional Required CertificationsTNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)BLS (Basic Life Support - AHA)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - AHA)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA)ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients in emergency situationsImplement appropriate nursing interventions and coordinate care with the healthcare teamAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedProvide emotional support to patients and their familiesMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policiesQualificationsA minimum of 24 months of Pediatric Emergency Room experience within the last 12 months is requiredTravel experience is highly preferredCandidates should be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the hiring process.
