Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and guest-focused Overnight Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. This position plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience while ensuring the hotel operates smoothly, safely, and professionally throughout the overnight hours. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, professional under pressure, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are seeking someone with strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle guest concerns calmly and efficiently. Responsibilities include guest check-ins and check-outs, processing reservations and payments, completing nightly reports and audits, assisting guests with requests, monitoring hotel activity during overnight hours, and maintaining communication with housekeeping and management teams. Responsibilities- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Check guests in and out quickly and accurately
- Handle reservations, cancellations, room changes, and payment processing
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with questions or concerns
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, room types, and amenities
- Perform nightly audit procedures and complete required reports accurately
- Monitor hotel activity and ensure a safe, secure, and quiet environment overnight
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and management regarding room status, maintenance issues, and guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and work areas
- Assist with administrative duties, paperwork, and shift reports
- Ensure all cash handling and payment transactions are completed accurately
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for every guest
- Follow all company safety, security, and service standards
- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance required
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel management systems
- Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
